Choose the specific experience
Checked 13 September 2026: the official tourism calendar confirms 5–18 October. It describes street food, guest-chef dinners, workshops, tastings and special restaurant menus. This is a two-week festival window, not a promise that every activity happens every day.
Reserve meals and workshops separately
Use the official programme to confirm venue, date, dietary arrangements, admission and booking method for each activity. A restaurant reservation, a workshop place and a hotel room are separate purchases. A regular food tour is not automatically part of Good Food.
Match Old Town, Lapad or Gruž to your evenings
Start with the Old Town if your chosen meals cluster there, checking steps and the exact luggage route. Lapad suits a different coastal stay but adds the journey to central events. Gruž can suit port arrivals; verify the onward connection rather than treating the port as the historic centre.
Leave a workable route back
Check the dated local bus service or a prearranged return for the actual venue. Do not plan the last journey from the advertised opening time alone. Keep outdoor activities flexible for October weather, and allow a relaxed morning after a late dinner.
Compare the stay after the programme
Choose the nights and area first, then compare room terms, reception hours and cancellation conditions in the accommodation guide. Book only the activities you want; festival dates do not guarantee a particular restaurant menu, room price or available place.
